Carousel and merry-go-round rentals

Planning a carousel for your event

General guidance. The operator confirms the requirements of the specific ride before you get a quote.

• Venue access

Carousels usually arrive in sections on trailers. Describe the route in from the road and any narrow gates, curbs or tight turns.

• Setup space

A carousel needs a firm, level area. Tell the operator the surface — grass, asphalt, concrete or an indoor floor — and the space you have.

• Power

Tell the operator what power is available near the setup area; they confirm what their carousel needs.

• Your audience

Carousels suit mixed ages. Let the operator know whether you expect mostly young children, families or adults, and roughly how many guests.

• What operators ask before quoting

  • Event dates and operating hours
  • Indoor or outdoor, and the floor or ground surface
  • Space available and access route
  • Expected attendance and guest ages
  • Power available near the setup area

Not sure about something? Tell the operator — “not sure” is a fine answer.

Frequently asked questions

Is a merry-go-round the same as a carousel?

For event rentals, yes — the two names are used for the same kind of ride. Search for either and you are in the right place; we list them all under carousel rentals.

Can a carousel be set up indoors?

Sometimes. It depends on the model, the room's height, the floor and the way in. Tell the operator about the room and they confirm before quoting.

How much does it cost to rent a carousel?

Each operator sets its own price and quotes per event, after hearing your date, location, hours and site. Travel, setup, crew and power all change the quote, so compare what each quote includes.

Can I rent a carousel for a wedding?

Yes, if the venue allows it and has a firm, level spot with access for the trailers. Check with the venue first, then contact operators with your date, the setup spot and your guest count.

Who sets up and runs the carousel?

The operator you contact delivers, sets up and operates the ride with their own crew. You arrange the details directly with them; we are not part of the rental.

When is the carousel actually booked?

When you and the operator agree terms directly. Event Access gives you the operator's contact details; the rental contract, deposit and payment are between you and the operator. Browsing or unlocking a contact doesn't reserve a ride.

How much does Event Access cost?

Event Access is $99. Ferris Wheel Event Access is $199. The fee is for operator contact access only; the rental is agreed and paid with the operator. One event, up to 5 distinct operators, 30 days of access. You see how many operators match before paying, and we don't sell access when fewer than the minimum match.
